My Grail Watch

Had the opportunity to try on my dream watch last week! The watch is the Tudor Black Bay 58 in the black configuration. Words cannot describe how excited I felt as I’ve been wanting this watch for over a year now! I was going to wait for an occasion to get it for but I don’t think I can wait!

What do you guys and girls think of the Tudor Black Bay 58? I’ve already been looking at straps for it to take everywhere!!

Black Bay 58 is a fan favorite and a beautiful piece.

IF I MAY BE SO BOLD - let me tell you that I was also coveting one for a while, and, just as an experiment I bought the Lorier Neptune sIV. It's also a very, very nice watch for about 1/8th the price. I gotta be honest, I don't even want the BB58 anymore.

You're a young guy, I don't know what your finances are, but if you haven't already plunked down the cash for the Tudor, check out the Neptune, if nothing else, just as a test run for a similar watch.

The Lorier looks lovely!! To me it just doesn’t have as much charm and reminds me of my Tissot with it’s case shape. I am a young dude (22yr) but I’d say I’m in a pretty decent job being a manager at a casino.

One thing I do love about that Lorier is the hands on the dial reminding me of the good ol’ classic Omega Speedmaster!

Thank you so much!! I’m thinking of getting a thick leather NATO strap to go with it for when I travel!

Do it!

I have looked at the Lorier next to my BB58. The Lorier Neptune is very nice.

Good looking watch

I certainly love the BB58 and bought one. On strap especially!

·

Congrats! The BB58 is also my current favorite. I’ve got the OEM bracelet, OEM nato and uncle Seiko president bracelet (which I’m willing to sell).

BB58 is a killer, an instant classic, can't go wrong there

I am looking at BB58 but think it will look like a toy on my 8 inch wrist. The Heritage 41s are too thick so I am stuck.

·

Awesome watch and one of the best bang for the buck in my opinion. Unpopular opinion but I actually think I still prefer this to the black bay 54. Good luck!

My wrists are about 7.7 inches if that helps you decide better! 😀

I had a very similar experience to yours. Wanted one for ages, saved up for over a year and thought to myself that I'd wait for a special occasion to pull the trigger. Went to the store and tried it on and it was a perfect match. In love instantly and got it there and then.

It's been a year now and it remains my favourite in my collection. If you love it....and you have the means.... buy it.
