Know any G-Shocks that can fit on my 6-inch wrist?

I recently decided to retire my G-Shock GW-M500A I owned for three years (though I started wearing it this February after not wearing it in two years) because it’s way too uncomfortable and too bothersome for me to wear and it didn’t have a perfect fit on me (it’s either way too loose or too tight, and the latter is really irritating my skin). Plus finding the compatible straps and strap adapters for it is just a complete pain in the neck to the point they don’t even exist and so I decided to look for other G-Shocks that have the perfect fit on my 6 inch (15-16 cm) wrist.

My criteria for them are:

  • I always prefer black G-Shocks. Other colors are just too flashy for me or didn’t fit my tastes. I don’t mind red and blue but I felt a black G-Shock is more “tactical” for me, to be honest.

  • Analog, digital and ana-digi are fine.

  • I rather have a G-Shock under $200.

  • No square G-Shocks. As much as I really want them, I’m looking for more circular (if that’s the word?) G-Shocks like the DW6900 and the M500A. Probably might change my mind about it but for now I rather want a round G-Shock.

  • Straps that have to be perfectly fit on my 6-inch (15-16cm) wrist.

A GA-s2100 fits perfectly on my wrist and I also have a 6 in wrist

I have this one and I have a 5.5 in wrist. You should be able to pull it off. I love how easy it is to set with Bluetooth. Call Joe from Topper he will give you a discount.

You could try this as it wears relatively small and only costs roughy £70

+1 for GMAS-2100 or the smaller CasiOaks. They are marketed to women but they wear very nicely. There is a black one and some other darker colours too.

I'm going to make a bit of a "left field" suggestion, why not go with a Timex?

If you're looking for a smaller, more "tactical" look the Timex Expedition/Atlantis should work pretty well.

40mm diameter, 11mm thick, 19mm lugs, and 100m WR.

Second @KristianG 's idea.

Or go after one of the Atomic Tough Solar, well under a $100US

I was actually thinking of getting Timex Expedition T45181 lately.

I had a similar model way back in the 90's, I enjoyed it quite a bit back then. I might have to look for one on sale.

sheesh Timex must’ve really like reissuing/remaking some of their old watches haha

They chose to update their lines over the years, Casio seems to have just kept making the same old watches forever.

In the end they both are now back in the 90's 😂

My first G was a 5600 Square. I also wanted something that wasn't too big (6½ inch wrist) and 14 years later I'm still wearing it.

I noticed it have a backlight. Does it light up the analog dial, or just the digital display? Or both?

Apologies for asking but what do you mean by Johnny 5 Type? I know who’s Johnny 5 but failed to understand the “Johnny 5 Type”.
