That gives about $400/£300/€360) and is a much more interesting debate as we have to actually think, rather than grabbing two high end pieces from fantasy land (IMHO). I'd suggest a Seagull 1963 and something from either the Seiko 5 range or maybe a G-Shock.

I'd get whatever A Lange & Sohne I could find at $29,980 and spend the remaining $20 on a Casio.
I would want one for everyday and one for something a litte bit more special.
