I’m coming out

I refuse to hide any longer. I understand the rules of cool dictate that your watch should be able to slide at least 3 inches up and down your arm. But I like my watches to stay put. I like a snug fit!

"Rules of Cool" be damned! I've never followed 'em anyway 👍 👍

I love that titanium green eco citizen, i think i will buy it one day .. i already have to much watches.dammit.😉🤓

·

Who needs a constant blood flow in the left hand :-)

·

I stand with you @mysteryd!

·

Haha, rules of cool? Who in the world said that a watch being able to run up and down your arm at least 3 inches... is actually cool? Dang, if 3 inches at least, then what is the maximum length? 6 inches, which will make the watch sit on your mid-forearm. Now thats NOT cool haha.

·

I wear socks with my sandals, despite the cool police rolling their eyes. 💪🏻💪🏻😜

·

The way my forearm is I can't wear a watch higher it just slides all over the place.

·

Me personally can’t stand a watch being lose on my wrist irritates the hell out of me so I have them tight but it’s a hard line to play it’s got to be tight enough to not move but with enough space so your hand doesn’t go blue haha. That’s why I love my Pelagos 42 so much it has a self adjusting clasp that keeps it in the sweet spot all the time

It’s a great watch, and even better on a nato

Great minds..

Once my watch is on, it ain't going nowhere!

·

Don't know who the heck made up that rule. If my watch budges even 1/4 inch, it is getting cinched up another notch.

·

Nah.. not for me. If my watches are loose enough to slide up and down, they also seem to spin about a ¼ of the way around my wrist in either direction, which results in me having to do wrist gymnastics in order to read the time 😁

·

Lol, my test is if I can slide my index finger under without meeting a ton of resistance AND it cannot easily slide side to side.

I have found that if it is as tight as some like, when doing active movements or wrist manipulation, which causes increased bloodflow, it gets painful.

Or I can literally read the caseback engraving on my skin or see a very well defined imprint of the ribbing on a NATO. Both of which tell me it was too tight.

I like this French outfit called esprit-nato.com. They have a great selection. And - very important - extra long nato’s (30 cm). Because I don’t only like a snug fit, I also like a long tuck! 😁

·

I’m glad I have allies! 😁

I find the Mercedes pairs really well with most of my watches 😉

·

I didn't know about that rule. I'm still trying to get the damn things to stay above by wrist bones cuzza that rule. Definitely can't stand when my watch slides away from me off the other side of by arm. I'm constantly pulling it back up.. so it gets tightened! And if my hand starts to go numb I just clench and unclench my fist blood donation style.

An unusual combination.... But, it works 👍

·

I’m pretty sure that is not a cool rule 😂

·

Not strictly a snugger but don't like too much movement 1cm play is plenty

·

3”??? That’s longer than… my patience for a loose watch banging around on my wrist.

·

Nothing wrong with a snug fit, I hate my watch sliding down below the bone to my hand.some of the heavier watches can be a challenge to get just right.
