I think there is always a culture/counterculture cycles that happen. Alot of kids get into something and then younger generation wants to be completely different and do the opposite.
I disagree with the tsuyosa having more elements of the rolex vs the Genta inspired 70s cases. Sure Tissot pulled the older case in their lineup from the 70s as but everyone back then was copying Genta and the Royal Oak he designed. Also comparing movements, I much prefer to actually be able to service a movement and regulate it myself vs the unserviceable swapping movement monster swatch group is becoming. I refuse to accept a $600 price tag for a watch with some plastic internals that can't be self regulated it's just wrong.
This one's on my list but I just got the rangemaster mechanical and a casioak so I'm trying not to piss my wife off. She knows my watch box has 7 slots left but I need to slow down lol.
