Going to Nodus next week
Since I wasn't happy with the watch I got from Islander I sent Nodus an email to see about visiting their location. I got an email back from the salesman and he said he was out of the office until next week.
I'm heading down on Thursday, is there anything in particular the community wants to know about?

It’ll be released in about 3 weeks in 4 different colorways. I think Random Rob posted a video showing 3/4 of them - the last one being a black dial.
Rotating 24hr bezel with a bidirectional ball bearing system. Sapphire insert.

Purchase and shipping right away-ish. I say ish because we usually need a week or two to process all orders on new launches. But if you give me your order no. via WC DMs (since I don’t have an email address) I can move yours to the top of the pile.

Ball bearing system is intriguing.
And even though I'm not a bracelet guy, y'all's NodeX is the best one I've tried. FYI.
What we really need is a dual countdown/elapsed (countdown first for reasons 😂) insert with 12 hrs GMT......👀🤏🏻🫣😂 JK. You'd prolly only sell one.
So don't listen to the odd balls.

I guess that’s true. It’s just not fun for me. We rarely sell at shows, and unless OP asks for it explicitly, I don’t plan on selling him a watch when we meet up. I just like finding good coffee shops and getting to know watch enthusiasts.

Bearings are tough because they require an order of magnitude more precision to get the alignment right. And even if we nail that, longevity has always been an issue with bearings.

Also just to be clear, NodeX isn’t just a clasp. It’s an entire program dedicated to novel mechanisms that are designed to be universal and affordable. It’s just a clasp for right now.

Not in the near term. One of our partners bought extras to sell separately on their own site later this year but they bought a ton of them. You’re better off asking your favorite brands to contact our team to work something out with us.
I do not work for Nodus, but if you are even thinking about getting a Nodus…..DO it!!! The watches are great and the people are outstanding. I have a Restrspect and an Avalon, honestly put them up against stuff 3x the price (Wes don’t get any ideas, but great even at twice the price)
Oh yeah, I am trying to hold off until the new Duality comes out
