My primary interest is mechanical watches and I tend to favor the mechanical version of any particular thing where a digital counterpart exists. This is really a matter of personal preference, though. Quartz is an amazing technology, especially when you get into high end quartz like 9f or the high end Citizen stuff (my Seiko fanboy is showing). Quartz certainly is no less relevant to horology and no less deserving of enthusiasm, imo.

I still wear my SPB more, it's just such a great watch. The max bill is a definite favorite as well.
