New Build - Adventure/Travel Watch

Finished this the other day. I'm pretty happy with it!

I scratched the dial when I was trying to clean up the center hole to clear the pinion on the NH34 - so I'll be doing that again soon. I'm on the fence about the red second hand as well. I think I'll wear it around and ponder 🤔

Looks good👍👍👍..well done

The only dial I accidentally scratched to hell was also a Tokeilab. I do like their matte finish, but it is sensitive.

I agree on the second hand, something that stands out but is black&white would probably work.

That’s a busy bezel… but it’s quite fun to look at.

I think I'd try for an electric blue color for the second hand.

Thanks! Been mulling over the idea for awhile so I very much appreciate it!

Haha, verrrry busy! It's and O.U.T.C.A.S.T bezel insert. I thought the idea was interesting so I literally tried to build a watch around the bezel. Time will tell if I find it truly useful....

I had not thought about blue but you might be on to something!

Thanks for the idea! I think that would look cool, too. I haven't tried modifying the text on a finished dial - any tips?

It really is sensitive. I think it scratched in places just from picking up brass shavings with rodico. I really like the look, though and their logo is one of my favorites for an aftermarket dial. They really did a good job playing on the old military tritium symbols

Whatever you choose, I look forward to seeing it
