Oh Shit Here We Go Again
So it is finally the time for my first Seiko mod from scratch! Took a long time to aquire all the components I needed, started in Autumn and only now recieved all I need (spoiler not everything came as it should have, so will need to order some replacement parts) hope everything goes as planned🙈

Good luck! Yes for me they always take longer than expected, often for some unforeseen thing like hand lume level not matching dial, or cut stem too short… need to order another, 😜 post the final mod. Good lighting and magnification is the key to placing the second hand.
May the replacement parts, currently on a truck in Kasachstan, find their destination in pristine condition.
Ah, I recall modding my first watch. That was in 2018. Five (5) years later, I still curse and scream when attempting to put the hands on the damn canon pinion.
Sounds and looks like we are living dual lives. I just built my first watch finally. Am waiting on bits and pieces on three others.

For me the worse struggle is to smudge the dial by accident while I try to put those hands 😁

That got a few quartz movements that I’m gonna mod next year so far I’m done good on some digital just the cosmetic end.
