Hello WatchCrunch!

Hi everyone. This looks like a great community of watch enthusiasts!

I started collecting watches at a very young age. In my teens I was lucky enough to have a collection of Flik-Flak, Swatch, Citizen, and Timex.

My grandfather left me his 1960 Omega Speedmaster ( Radium Lume) when he passed away almost 15 years ago, and since then my Watch obsession has only grown.

3 years ago I began making some Frankenwatches for fun and friends…and I got so many requests  that I opened a little online store with the intention of keeping sales local and donating a portion of revenue to local non-profits.

Fast-forward to today and I’m designing my very own Watch case, bezel etc for a watch I named Canaveral.

As I learn the ropes here on WatchCrunch, I will share more of my journey and I would love to get some constructive criticism on my creations!

Thanks for having me.

Welcome friend ! Good luck in your project I will follow !

Welcome. That is nice to see the effort. I just wish the watch looked a bit more original. Don't take it too close to heart. Now it is the mix of the most famous case in the world – Subby and one of the most famous dials – Tag Heuer Aquaracer. I understand that this is a double homage, but the homage is like too literal. If you have the abilities and power to produce these things it would be great to make a new fresh watch into the wild. I'm sure you will be supported a lot by this community.

I have been on your website and had a look.  I am into modern vintage inspired dress watches lately.  You going to be designing something along those lines in the future?

this watch will be a blend of vintage looks and modern technology.
You can get a sneak peek if you zoom into the dial and read what I wrote underneath AUTOMATIC. 🤫
