NSB Canaveral | Driftwood Series

Here are a couple of pics I took of our newest flagship watch: Canaveral.

We got all our inspiration from the Canaveral National Seashore. The watch itself is available in four (4) series. Each series represents an important feature of the Geographical area.

Driftwood Series: The dial is a captivating dark brown, representing the wet brown driftwood that is abundantly found in the marshes and waterways of Canaveral National Seashore.

Here are the specs:

Dial Diameter: 38mm
Band Width: 20mm
Case Material: 316L Stainless Steel
Luminous Aluminum Bezel.
Sapphire Crystal.
Movement: ETA2824-2 or Clone PT5000
Water Resistant to 660ft / 200M

So there are a big difference of the 2 movements mentioned. One is Swiss and other is Chinese. Which movement is in the watch? Or is it an option? I do like the specs and design.  The case size is a bit small for an 8in wrist. I myself would perfer 40mm. I feel a better balance with the date window at 6.  I like the lume. I would lume the end of the secondhand. It looks lumed at opposite end.

I do like dive watches and will put your brand on my radar. Nice whatch!

Great question. I made it an option, so either or.  I’m a big fan of the PT5000 as I think it’s a solid and reliable movement, and I’ve come to realize that there is a sort of cult following of ‘only Swiss’ watch enthusiasts, so I made it optional.

I like options. The pt5000 is a good chineese movement.  It's thier workhorse.  It's a $$  choice. I updated my previous post. I like your design!

Thank you so much for your thoughts man. I really appreciate it.
As far as sizing I see your point, and for Q4 of 2023 I plan on offering different sizes to fill the gaps on both ends of the wrist sizes.

Nice watch, I'm in AND I have a story totally related. Back in 2004-5 was in Orlando working hurricane waiting to start school in Daytona and I used to love walking the shores. I found a piece of drift wood i call "The Ugly Stick" because its got a ugly looking face on it, literally looks like burned out eyes and a Gonzo looking nose, I dig shit like that. I also found a whale rib on one of my excursion, still have it!! I'll never forget the workout walking that beach, love it!!
