Hamilton Khaki Automatic 38mm

New watch! After looking for a daily/casual/field watch I’ve finally picked the Hamilton Khaki Auto 38mm. I kept on going back and forth between either this, the Nivada Grenchen Super Antarctic or the Seiko Alpinist 1959 reinterpretations. I ended up going with this beautiful Hamilton because it’s such a timeless design. Some people find it a “busy” dial design but I find it works so well especially as a more causal watch, and the red-tipped second hand is the cherry on top of the cake (get it…because it’s red lol). Plus if you look hard enough you can find great deals on these pieces. Anyways, I’m loving this watch and it keeps great time.

Also, thanks to everyone who voted on my countless polls to steer me in the right direction. My best watch purchase in a long time.

Very, very nice indeed! Would love to own the "Murph" version myself 😊. I don't think the dial is too busy at all. In fact am sure that Timex used the Hamilton Khaki as inspiration for the look of their Expedition Scout lineup; my white-on-black, brushed case Scout looks very similar to your lovely Khaki 👍

I've been waffling between this & one of the Murphs. It might help keep me from spending about 7-8x the price for a new Planet Ocean.

It does look similar! Lovely watch! I had tried on the Murph as well and it fits like a dream but the price kinda turned me off.

Great choice to get the Hamilton Khaki field, I like mine a lot too. Timeless design is a good definition, like you said!

Love this watch ! The fit n finish is so great for the price. Timeless classic

Hi, nice looking watch!, I have the Hamilton Khaki manual wind and if it had a screw-crown and was an automatic it would probably be the perfect watch for me, can you tell me if your model has a screw-crown?, if not is there a Hamilton that does have and looks similar to this please

Hi there, this model does not have a screw down crown and I don’t think there is a Khaki model that which has one. However, this has an excellent water resistance rating of 100m.

The khaki is dynamite! What a beautiful piece especially on the black strap! 10/10

I just received a bracelet for this watch yesterday, and I'm amazed how easy it was to install. Fits like a glove.

The Hamilton Khaki Navy Scuba watches have screwed down Crowns but they're a different animal.
