Strap bulk on top or bottom?
No frills look. However I find myself alternating between a regular nato/zulu strap and the oem Tudor fabric strap constantly. Visual bulk on top side or the bottom (mainly for small wrist guys I guess.) Which one do you prefer? Have a great weekend guys and gals. Second pic not mine, but from Hodinkee review by J. Stacey.
Edit: just wanted to add that by mentioning bulk I mean it as a visual, stylistic choice rather than the bulk being a problem. But still, many thanks to folks for sharing solutions to the bulk!

Honestlyit all depends on the individual strap that I use. Some work better with the bulk on the outside of my wrist, others it is on the bottom.
Traditionally you give it a man bun but a beard works as well. If you're willing to browse Youtube I'm sure there's videos for alternative ways to wear Nato strap so that the bulk ends up underneath.
The easiest solution is an Erika's Original MN. The look of a fabric strap, with none of the downsides. She makes a version for the FXD.

Yep. I’ve tried those methods though the bulk to me is not much of a problem but more of a visual stylistic choice. Therefore I found hiding the bulk a bit like taking away the fun in wearing nato straps :)

For MN straps, I was told the clip and hardware is supposed to go on the inside. Like so:
Aesthetically wherever the bulk is… it’s fine. If asked about a specific answer: towards the lugs at 12 o’clock.
