I’m looking for a small dress watch for my 16.5cm wrist, it is so hard to find small watches! Came down to these 2, I was leaning towards the GS but I just think it is too thick, that’s why the Cartier came into picture being nearly 4mm thinner, but Roman numerals isn’t exactly what I prefer, please share your thoughts.
Thank you!

The Oris Rectangular models are perfect for those who love the look of a Cartier but are allergic to Roman numerals. @Chunghauphoto sports one from time to time. Vario offers the thic boi microbrand alternative to the Reverso. And look at the new offerings from Jack Mason.
Cartier 👍🏻
Picture would help. 🤷🏻♂️

Or you could use Google to find them 🤔 🤷♂️

Thanks @Aurelian. I can only describe the Oris Rectangular as a gently curved tank case, with a JLC Tribute dial. The hands are completely different to either but do ‘work’ imo. I will just add, it’s quite small - so I would definitely recommend you try it on, if you are interested.
The Cartier you’ve referenced is the Santos-Dumont? Its more of a square than a rectangular. Its a really good looking watch (I would prefer that over the GS - even though the GS is probably less likely to be seen around than the Cartier).
Good luck with your choice and let us see it when you get it!!

Yeah, but... help will be easier to give if we had pics already on the post. A lot of people will just skip the post entirely with no pic in the main feed. Others will open, see no pics and leave.
I was always taught that if I was asking for help, to try & make it as easy as possible for others to want to help.

I responded to the comment thinking that it was in response to @Aurelian comment. The op likely didn't post pics because he was asking for recommendations, which @Aurelian gave, also without pictures.

I’m lazy
Given a choice, I'd ALWAYS go with Cartier for a dress watch. Get a tank with a sterile dial if Roman numerals aren't your thing...

I didn't give pictures because sometimes I don't want to do someone's research for them. "What watch should I buy?" posts are the most tedious posts on this site.
Very one sided, everyone for Cartier.
Also added photos

Hence my "or you could use Google" reply.
Two excellent options. Would go for Cartier though.

I would have replied directly to @Aurelian comment if that was the case. Anyway not everyone is as well versed with ref nos.

I understand that. My response was not for anything you had posted.
If you want thin and arabic numerals look no further than the JLC MUT 34mm (145.8.79.S): https://www.chrono24.com/search/index.htm?caseDiameter=34¤cyId=USD&dosearch=true&manufacturerIds=127&maxAgeInDays=0&models=430&pageSize=60&redirectToSearchIndex=true&resultview=block&sortorder=0
A few different color and case combinations, but this truly is an engineering marvel.
Roman numerals wasn't my thing either until I tried a Cartier watch on, I have never look back since. I would suggest dressing up formal and walk in to a Cartier boutique to try it out, perhaps it will change your perception once you sees it on your wrist 😜
