Certainly nothing wrong with it (and it's a personal thing). That's why I was curious as to how others view it. I couldn't justify my most expensive watch being a watch that I only wear once in a blue moon just because it would bug me that I spent "a lot" of money for a luxury item that mostly never gets used. Oh, and I actually don't own a suit, tie or dress shoes. 😂

I think someone else mentioned this as well, but anything that looks like a Gerald Genta design. I just do not understand the appeal.

Without a doubt, my dad's Seiko from 1979. He received it as a freshman in high school after his basketball team made it to the Sweet Sixteen in the state tournament. Pretty big deal in Kentucky. It's even engraved on the back to commemorate the occasion.
