Chat GPT to the Rescue

I spend wayyyyy to much time thinking about what color straps go with each watch dial, or how to pair them with my outfits. I have finally figured out how to get that info quite simply!

I dropped my watch into Canva, used the dropper tool to pull a color code from the dial. Then I simply asked ChatGPT what colors go with insert color. I then asked what colors per each season and saved them to my notes. I created an example of how I used its responses so I have a colorful diagram to use.

Is this overkill... absolutely. Will I continue to do this, probably. Let me know if you give it a shot!

This is awesome!

Mind making one for this colour, please? 🙏😁

Yes, maybe it's overkill, but I dig that! 😂

Brilliant what chatGPT can do, if youre into art this is colour theory and you can learn most of this using a colour wheel 🎨

That is awesome! I love experimenting with bands also! It can change the entire vibe of a watch.

·

Oh man, the watch strap industry loves you (and ChatGPT)!

·

Awesome idea, by the way!

I find switching up the strap helps me combat any fatigue I might have from rocking the same pieces. Even though I'm obsessed with most of them so it's not really an issue. But agreed 100%.

I love to swap straps and bracelets, but the day when I rely on some AI app to do it for me, or even suggest an option is the day I abandon all hope.

Seems that day will be sooner than later. Independent thinking is quickly being flushed away.

C'MON MAN!!!!!!

Genius!

·

You can take a picture of your watch (even your outfit) and upload to ChatGPT. And then ask for color combinations.

I don't have chat gpt +. Not sure that I can.

·

not to be that guy … but this isn’t exactly something you need an LLM to do. I’ve been using Adobe Color (it was originally called Kuler … seriously) to find complementary and contrasting colors for years, if not a decade+

·

Well, that's dope. But what do you ask actually?

·

The fun bit about this hobby is strap swapping. If I spend countless hours n headaches over this than it's time to stop the hobby for awhile and get on with real life. ✌️😁

·

Interesting use of AI compared to the usual bot writing trashy novels or students using it to cheat on their homework

·

I just bought a strap about two weeks ago. Why didn't you post this sooner 😆😆😆

·

This is awesome! Great job and I’ll be playing around with this in future 😃

·

Awesome work! I love seeing people overthinking things like this. 😂

Black still goes with everything, right? 😅

Jesus Christ , I need a sign or a something to note when anything is done with chat GPT, I won't pay any attention to what "it" suggests. about ANYTHING. Blasphemy,

lol I think that would be the title dude.

·
Balanced

Completely without snark, I suggest you read a book about basic colour theory.

Also, it’s fun to go to a wall of paint samples at your local shop, whatever that may be, with your watch (not on any strap, just raw).

You can then have a field day!

Think of the strap as a frame for the dial.

This sounds sooooo fun. I will do this over the weekend 🤣. Works out. Need to pick up some screws anyway.

Blessed? I thought grown up described it more accurately. But please, if you get fun out of it, why not, there is no wrong or right.

Disagree. I need the visual is all. I’d argue methods of enjoying a hobby don’t really speak to maturity or one’s status of “adult”. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ not sure though may have to ask ChatGPT.

Happy to agree to disagree. I don’t consider colour choices a problem in my life. Enjoy what brings you joy.
