Cuffed sleeves…

I was doing my laundry this morning and realized that every sweater, hoodie, long sleeve shirt I own, button down or otherwise (also most of my coats/jackets) have their left sleeve cuffed at least once.

Cuz off the cuff...i got into vintage. I realised that since March I'd only been buying 39-42mm watches with heights > 12mm. Which are quite awkward to fit under a cuff, especially when wearing two layers of long sleeves. Which led to this (and couple more after that), sliding nicely even under a fairly tight cuff:

I Just wear vests all year around 🙄🤣

·

I was a teenager in the 80's so my sleeves are both always pushed up (or rolled on more formal attire)

·

Don't know why but I've always hated long sleeves. And always roll them up. Unless I'm in a suit (which is rare).

·

I only roll my cuffs for one watch

·

Always. But I cuff both, cuz I don't like the disjointed look.

Unless I'm wearing a blazer/dinner/smoking jacket. Then I'm not concerned with reading the time and the watch just completes the ensemble. Or I'm rocking the pocket watch.

Even for work in uniform. Minimum is one cuff length rolled.

For combat aka Crye tops, two rolls. Hate sleeves getting in the way of anything.

·

I usually roll mine up. Not hiding my watch all day

·

For me, this has nothing to do with whether I wear a watch or not. If the temperature is too high, I roll up my sleeves (if the formalities allow it).

·

Always. In fact, I have custom made shirts with different patterns under the cuff to show contrast when folded

I’m B, but then again, I do not wear long sleeved shirts either, except on rare occasion.

·

If I rolled my sleeves, I'd roll both. Rolling just one would look unhinged.

·

I can look elegant & classy without wearing sleeves.

Strange that you only cuff one of the arms. The lack of symmetry would mess with my OCD

·

I don’t roll my cuffs cause I get to wear tshirts to work 😊😉

·

My sleeves being cuffed is largely dependent on the weather. Winter sleeves are down, summer sleeves are up.

I never used to do it, but then because I'm insane, I just started noticing that the size of the watch kind of fills the space of the sleeve thats cuffed so it weirdly is symmetrical?

Then again, this is all happening while im rocking back and forth in the corner of my closest holding my watch box like a baby lol

This is another reason that I hate overly large watches. Even if you can cram them under a sleeve, they wear away at it.

If I need to and it is warm enough, I'd roll both. I wouldn't want to advertise that I am too dim to get a watch that fits under a cuff.

Most of my collection is 36 - 38mm, with the exception of my BB58, but even still - I just got into the habit and never shook it

Huh. I don’t think I’ve cared enough about how my cuff accommodates my watch?

you will now!

While I wouldn’t call this watch overly big, It did destroy nearly every long sleeve shirt I own. It left my bits very unchuffed.

Now I always roll and cuff.

Please tell my thats your punching arm

I almost always roll up my sleeves, but that’s because when I gain weight the cuff ends get too short and look weird. 😅

I'm in the boat right now lol - damn holidays

I wear long sleeves during the week all the time, rolled down unless it's warm. My frustration is that many cuffs are too narrow for a watch (even not so thick watches!). Which is weird as my wrists aren't big, not sure how someone with big wrists and my chest size manages! Weekend tends to be short sleeves..

I have that issue too, I always see people with their watch perfectly hidden under their cuff, it pops out sometimes to reveal a little watch...meanwhile, all the fabric of my sleeve bunches up behind even the thinnest of watches

😂, more about my ability to view and appreciate than to flaunt

Nah, that’s my weak arm.

·

I work in a place where I wear short sleeve tshirts all the time, so cuffs are a foreign thing to my wrists.

From Proper Cloth and I have a discount code: http://bit.ly/pc-iancognito

Which one?

This one, I believe it came from a time when cuffs didn't exist (or everyone had wizard sleeves)
