Anachronist Zero Pass Nato - Boy, oh boy.

When I bought my BB58, I had no intention of wearing it on anything but the bracelet - to me, it feels like the 58's natural habitat. But after 3 years, a nice leather strap started to sound good, might pair better with my collection of sweaters.

I bought a handful of straps, even Tudor's leather strap which I found to be too thick, and they worked fine, but I was the most captivated when I saw @Max drop this zero pass nato. While I love the look of one, I don't usually like to wear a leather nato, but...no material under the watch?? I ordered it immediately and;

I couldn't be happier, the leather quality is fantastic, the color ("Natural Tan" pictured above) is super versatile and works with my whole collection. The hardware is great quality, though I am excited to get some scratches on the keepers, and most importantly it's very comfortable. No bulk, light, it doesn't give you that annoying itch under your watch head, and the profile of your favorite watch is preserved, it's excellent!

I only have one criticism, and one end-user suggestion; there is a slight learning curve getting the fit right, but I suspect that will pass after awhile, don't let it bother you, you'll find the right spot and it will feel great.

I do wish it was maybe a half an inch longer, on my 7 inch (and some change, depending on the day) wrist, the remaining material is just short enough that tucking it back in the keeper is tough - not a deal breaker by any means.

Well done, team. I've got some more on order and you should get some too!

Needing more excess material is a problem I wish I had as a small writer. 😂

You might want to try folding the excess inwards instead of outwards. Might tuck away a bit more nicely (that’s how I fold all of my nylon straps).

Looks great! Yeah it's hard to get one size that fits most wrist wrist sizes. We are planning to lengthen a quarter inch on the next one.

Excellent - Consider them purchased!

The biggest reason I don't tend to use NATO's is there is never enough strap to tuck back. A longer version for those of us with strong manly wrists would be appreciated. 😁

Leather nato feels like a perfect strap for a 58. You can tell me whatever, but I’m not feeling like a 58 has a tool watch aesthetic

I saw Gordon Ramsay with a 4 digit sub on a leather Nato few couple years back on hot ones... It was at that moment, I knew my calling

100%

I bought a few nato's from Barton years ago, even their longest version was too short. If I wanted material to tuck, I had to wear it comically tight lol.

I couldn't agree more - it's actually one of the main reasons I chose the BB58 over other divers, including a few older submariner models. A tool watch just doesn't work on me, my wrists were made for rolling D20's over a D&D mat lol.

I love the professorial vibe of the 58, it looks better next to tweed than it does underwater.

This tracks - my wife and I went to dinner after I got the zero pass and I couldn't stop screaming at the line cooks at the restaurant, lol.

that should be a disclaimer on the website.

That’s actually a tasty combination for a guy who swears for a living and wears every bright dial Breitling he could get his hands on

Does this new strap work with fixed 19mm lugged watches? I tried to ask Anachronist customer service via email and even Max here via PM on Watchcrunch, but NO response yet? TIA!
