Originally from Oklahoma. Left for college and never returned. A teaching career took me to several universities. Eventually moved to the Bay Area and then to the Pacific Northwest where I've been for many years. Most recently on an island in Puget Sound. Married for over 30 years to a beautiful spouse and with an 19 y/o daughter whose college expenses limit my options for new watches and automobiles.
Have a self-imposed budget for a watch purchase that tops out at about $1000. Spending more interferes with my support for progressive political causes, especially in election years.
