The New Zelos Spearfish Dual Time

Here's the new Spearfish. Counting down the days and wow what a warch.

Love the sapphire dial and movement.

Well I'll have to wait until next year to get one. Probably cost me more then than now. This is what happens when you already spent your budget for the year lol

Here's a link to a deconstruction of the Spearfish.

From my email notice:

I am proud to announce the launch of one of our most complex pieces yet, a sibling to the Mirage series. As it happens to be just after the 1st, I just wanted to clarify that it's not an April Fool's joke! 😂 This limited edition of the Spearfish features a rare Swiss made Grande date and dual time module, displayed through a sapphire crystal dial. Even with these complications, the Spearfish remains a wearable 10mm thick and slips easily under a cuff. We offer these in titanium and forged carbon cases, both strong yet lightweight materials. The titanium case and bracelet have also been hardened to 1200Hv which will endure any abuse you can throw at it.  I hope you'll enjoy the Spearfish as much as I have designing it over the past year and finally having it on my wrist! Enjoy your watches!

I like that a lot!

That’s a nice watch, too pricey for me and I’m not a fan of see through watches

·

Beat me to it! I just saw the email and checked to see if you posted anything before I would. 😂

·

Hot damn, went to the site and I am blown away with how they colourized the dial, of all things. A coloured glass dial over the movement?

·

The new dual time does nothing for me, though I have no doubt it is a great watch.

I suspect I'm in the minority, but I wish Zelos would make simple dials again... The Spearfish diver looks great apart from the overly fussy dials they seem to always use now.

·

Not the biggest fan of the see through dial, particularly the way the date window is visible. Don’t really care for the extra numbers being visible.

The indices and hands look pretty good, I hope they reuse these on a future model

The way they did the dual time complication with the lumed day/night and the lumed earth is nothing short of awesome, not something you see done every day

Comfortably outside of my budget, the sticker shock is real, but it fits with the brand as them pushing the boundaries of what they can do again

They have the Nova 2 coming out at 37mm. These will be more Guilloché dials with this model. The Spearfish is more about the movement and inner workings of the watch. Not everyone's cup of tea. I on the other hand can appreciate the watch. If I had the budgeted $$ I would do it.

I find it pricey too

·

Ohh if only I could afford it now.... Love it but will have to pass on it!

Later in life. I'm adding a video on deconstruction of the watch.

·

Absolutely incredible! What an extraordinary timepiece they've crafted. I'm utterly amazed.

As you know they produce watches from affordable to luxury.

Agree, except for the first paragraph lol. They have the Nova 2 37mm coming.

It's like Zelos and Xeric had a baby!

Can anyone find the weight of the titanium versus carbon fiber on bracelet and on strap?

Not sure. I know the carbon is lighter.

·

This looks pretty sick! Way out of my price range for a micro brand, even one as solid as Zelos (I own two myself). But seriously cool and I respect Elshan reaching to new heights.

I know it's spendy! Maybe I can sell off my US Commemorative Stamp collection lol.

They can produce amazing pieces. They have the Skyraider coming out later this year.

Are there pics of the skyraider yet? I really really liked the looks of the recent Eagle 2 release. That is amazing looking. So unique and interesting.
