I wasn’t really as knowledgeable about watches when I first started and just purchased without much thought. A few years later I tried the Apple Watch and wore one of those for the next eight years. About two months ago I decided I wanted to wear an actual watch, and talked to my brother (who is vastly more knowledgeable than I am) about the different types of watches, movements, straps, etc. Now, here we are!
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
The first watch I remember owning as a kid was a Timex Ironman around 1986. As an adult, the first real watch I owned was a Casio Edifice.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Not really.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Pace yourself! Don’t go crazy and actually take time to develop your tastes.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
