This Slow got me started fast

It's this that started it all for me. It's a SlowJo #017. Don't see many Slow-watch posts here though so here is my contribution.

Hands up if anyone have even heard of Slow-watches.

Heard of, like the idea of, don't own.  What are your thoughts on it?

The idea of a one handed watch with a 24 hour dial is a bit of a novelty but that got me interested. Needs a bit of getting use to to tell time and obviously you would never be able to tell the time accurately.

Wears great as a dress watch.

Hot damn, you come in like a wrecking ball.

A one-hander is too much like a jewelery to me but good for you.

🍻

I think it's complete stupidity that not every watch goes by the 24-hrs format. It's still possible to have another chapterring or subdial for seconds and minutes. Made a post about this not long ago.

Lovely watch 😍 Enjoy

Well I have considered  Meistersinger one handers. Seen a lot lately as I'm in Germany near Munster where they're made... if I remember correctly.  Look good in the flesh too.

Cool piece

Glad to hear. Lemme know your discoveries.

I did explore meistersinger although dId it after putting the order in for the Slow. For self reassurance. I kinda still prefer the 24 hr indices to meistersingers 12. But they are handsome ones. Lemme know when you decide to have one on your wrist. cheers.

Interesting that the 12 is at the 12o'clock position instead of the 0. 😂

Due to the beauty of radially printed indices, the destro version is the way you want it!

Love it! One handed Luch was my first mechanical.

Looking at that dial puts into perspective the pie slice the typical work day takes out of one’s full day. It is less than one would would otherwise reckon.

·

As a newbie enthusiast I have never seen this type of watch before, very interesting concept, definitely something new to research

·

Slow needs a marketing department. I always forget about them. I have a tiny Luch. I might be strange but I didn't struggle with the dial like I expected.

I agree. You are definitely right about a marketing department.

How do you tell the minutes ?

How do you tell the minutes ?

Each tick mark between the hour markers are 15mins. You won’t be able to tell time precisely by the minute.😬
