It definitely is a Watch...In Fact, it's a Smartwatch. It sits atop your wrist with a strap and its main objective is to tell the time(that's the watch part) It has a heart rate monitor, Blood oxygen monitor, Step counter, can take calls, reply to messages Etc... (That's the smart part)
But a Grand Seiko does not fall into this category as it is not a sub $1000 watch is it... so in the case of the GS it would be worth it to service instead of ordering a new movement for it.
Hmmm, I'm still a newbie in the watch world but so far by all the watches I see online that I really really like in no particular order:
- Omega
- Cartier
- Bell & Ross
- JLC
- Rolex
For now... but can definitely change at a moments notice, Honorable mention to the watches I can afford like Casio, Seiko and swatch
