I love TV dialled watches, alas you don’t see many top brands producing these days, Heuer Monaco aside. They should bring these designs back.

You can have this Mido Multifort big date
Ofcourse they are. And they're gorgeous
I like them, but sometimes I think that their squareness looks too similar to the tanks
They don't even make TV's TV-shaped anymore!
Möels has entered the chat.
Does Brew count?
Sure the shape of the Straton Speciale is special:
My Monza says hello!
Personally, I think it usually has too much wasted space around the bezel.
Good question.
I kinda dig the mido multifort tv big date blue 😊
(Not my hand in the pic lol)
The Monza is a great design and I prefer it over the Monaco for sure .
Bring back the Lemania 5100 while you’re at it please!🙏🏻
💯

Seems thick as a brick..JMO
My favourite watch. Seventies panorama date by GO
Perhaps because for at least one generation that is not what TVs have looked like.

Are you joking? I have presume you are.

My kids never had a TV that looked like that. Young Millennials and Gen Z know larger flat screen TVs. I can see them not understanding the reference. Don’t think they’re interested in a nostalgic reference to something they’ve never known. So, I can see why it wouldn’t be fashionable for that demographic. 🧐
The idea of a “TV Dial” can really only appeal to those of us old enough to remember when that’s the shape TVs were. And we’re a dying breed. 👴🏻

Love this one

This is the dumbest thing I’ve read in a while. Ok how about “square” dial?

Sorry. I just replied the the question you posted, not the one you meant. TV dials are a very distinct 70’s style of vintage watch.

I’ve almost bought the Speciale several times. it’s a looker
Even I couldn't resist...
What watch is that? I like it!

This really is a great looking watch. Too bad their website doesn’t pick up the dial color gradient as well as your pic!

That was a case that Namoki had for a while, but doesn't carry at the moment. The dial was customized, more or less a play on my family history. The watch hands I had, which are essentially Seiko Monster hands. The watch strap is plain rubber. (Oh, bezel insert is from AliExpress. While it is also silver, it doesn't always match under all light conditions.)

Well done, indeed.

That's true the website pics are horrible. I picked this one up after eyeing a few on Instagram/reddit
