Grail watch hunt postponed

Cost me $2200 to save his life but well worth it. The Grail can wait. It isn't going anywhere

Good looking! Whats's his name? Name him Omega, just in case.

·

Sounds like an easy call. Hope he’s feeling better soon!

·

Right on! Your a great person! He loves you. It will come back to you in grail form! 😃

Enjoy that dog!

Cheers!

I feel your pain. I spent three thousand on a cat's surgery this week. No surgery, no cat.

·

So cute! I too recently had to drop a rather nice watch on doggy eye surgery. Worth every penny.

Ouch. Sorry for your loss. I was lucky. If my wife hadn't been home sick that day, the ending would have been very different.

His name is Sammy, though I kick myself when someone told me he looked like Sprocket from Fraggle Rock.

No, I saved him. If I had delayed getting him to the animal hospital he was a goner. So, if no surgery than I would have not cat. I have an angry incontinent cat.

Oh, good then. I'm glad I misinterpreted that then. Yes, my cat can be quite angry too, but then again, his name is Dinosaur.

I'd sell all my watches (15+) to save any dog. Even my Dad's Seamaster Chronograph.

·

That's why I never got another dog. My last one never had any emergencies, but I could see myself with a dog dying because there is now way I could have afforded that kind of vet bill.

·

Preach! Just shelled out $2500 on major dental work after an injury. No watches for me!

·

You got your grail right in front of you. Glad your pup is ok. Your watch will come soon. As a dog owner who had a $3800 bill a year ago, I get it. We have bought insurance since then.

I couldn't afford it either but I'm lucky in that I'm getting ready to sell a car that's completely paid off, so whatever I get is gravy.

No I don't mean I had to put a purchase off, or I had something to sell, I mean really can't. As in watch the pet die can't. I live on about a thousand a month. The fact that I have any watches is amazing, for years I had to wear used pants and eat at food shelves "can't afford it" Its "If I didn't have government health care I'd have died 3-4 times poor, If I didn't live in subsidy disabled my address would be 22 year old Honda parked in a vacant lot poor.

Wonderful pupper though!

·

So glad it worked out for him. They are fury members of our tribe and we love them

·

What a fantastic way to spend $2200!

·

He looks great! All the best.

·

Wow, what happened to the poor boy/girl?

Wow, what happened to the poor boy/girl?

A gastric volvulus, where, for reasons unknown, his stomach twisted on itself. Out of the blue and a surgical emergency. If he didn't have surgery immediately, his stomach would have ruptured and he'd have died. Horrible stuff.
