Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I grew up in Geneva, an literally used to bike past the Rolex factories so you could say it was in my blood. But really didn’t start until my wife bought me my omega planet ocean when I turned 39.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A swatch when I was 13 in 1985
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Lug width is more important than diameter size
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
A patek Phillipe probably the rose gold nautilus. I love watches that bear my hometown, Geneva and I’ve been a sucker for their marketing campaign, my watches will go to my kids and hopefully my grandkids one day.
