Ollech & Wajs - Anyone heard of them, like them, have one?
I like the utilitarian retro look they have. Reasonably priced, ~1100 to 2500 chf, quality looks good, interesting history, and hey, Bodie and Doyle from The Professionals (1980's UK TV series) wore them :)

The company has an interesting history and a recent resurgence in the past few years.

Yes I thought the thickness for the 3 handers was okay but the lug length seems to be quite long at 49.5 mm for most of them.
I have both the vintage and modern O&W.
My assessment:
vintage O&W = very cool...definitely worth adding to the collection. I believe they used Jenny to make the classic Caribbean style watches. Jenny was the first to manufacture a watch with 1,000M of water resistance and O&W's divers were white-label manufactured by Jenny.
modern O&W = meh...bracelets are terrible...poor Chinese construction...watches are OK but nothing remarkable...I picked up one and have decided the quality does not meet the asking price, but cool retro designs.
Vintage O&W AstroChron - awesome and rare watch
Modern O&W Ocean Graph - based on the Jenny Caribbean design but had to put it on a vintage-style tropic rubber strap because the bracelet was utter crap
The Jenny reissues are much better made watches all around and much better value with very good bracelets...plus they are made by the original manufacturer of the design...

Man they look great, thanks for the info. and pics. The one that you had to put on the tropic looks great, an orange tropic would also work a treat with that. So if I was getting one I would take into consideration the bracelet. I think the 1973 re-issue has a pretty good looking quality bracelet, but I am past the integrated fad I think.

They were a supplier of field watches to the US military in the 60's and 70's. They are a solid reliable brand.
still one of my favourite watches. it was my daily for many many years. it was gifted to me from a dear friend.
I've heard of them and have tried on a couple 2 years ago ... I want one!! Very nice on wrist and love the design.

The vintage one were awesome, no idea of the modern type.
