What is your favorite complication?

I absolutely love the engineering that goes into modern watches…it simply fascinates me.

So, I started wondering…

What is your favorite complication?  If you had to choose only ONE complication on your watches for the rest of your life what would it be?

For me…

The most useful complication: date.
The most fun complication: chronograph.
The most impressive complication: minute repeater.

I think I’d have a hard time choosing between a chronograph and a date window!

Which one would you choose?

I mean….date, for sure. However if we dismiss date as maybe being too obvious, I would probably go with power reserve.

·

Dead-second complication!

·

My favourite complication has to be the tourbillon. If we’re not counting the tourbillon here… then the chronograph.

·

Date, some of us are old enough to always look at our watch for the time/date when we need it.

I find the modern trend away from dates on watches weird... Why do people want a less useful watch for more money? The BB58 would be perfect if they found a way to add a date while not removing an index.

Life is already enough complications maybe the best complication is not to have one 🤔🍻 just plain old school clean dial

Perpetual Calendar Chronograph; a thing of beauty (and mechanical mastery.)

Looking at costs of service: date.

I do like power reserve indicators, though.

·

Chronograph!

Don’ really use it that often but thats the case with the other complications as well.

Never had a tourbillon or a Perpetual Calendar so can't really give an objective answer on those.

·

no complication, low service cost lol. i hate to set date and day everytime i wear the watch

·

I like Big Date complications (with 2 discs).

·

C'mon, it's obviously moon phase!

No, I don't own a watch with this.

·

I enjoy a mechanical alarm such as a JLC memovox.

·

Chronograph for me. 🤓

I always miss having a date complication. Yesterday I wore the BB58 and ineffectively checked the date multiple times.
There’s always a tiny moment of panic seeing a blank space and wondering what happened to my date window!

·

Power reserve . hands down and its expensive.

For me a date complication is a must snd I think a fun one is a world time complication. The most interesting one I’ve seen is the Regulateur. Don’t think that I’d ever buy it myself but it’s definitely sparked my interest.
