What's your favorite movie watch?

Sadly this will never be made, but the Hamilton sub zero from the movie Tenet is my personal favorite movie watch

I thought they did make it, but without the digital display? Which I guess may be your point…

Yes I wish they made the digital and automatic version, that would be insane!

That counts 🤣

Tenet and Alien are among my favorite films, so this thread is scratching my itch.

The Casio "Ripley" from Alien. Originally made from two Casio F100 watches stuck together. The F100 was reissued a few years ago as the A100.

All of the prop watches from the Aliens films are really cool, including some crazy Seikos!

I feel like the best movie watch is whichever watch you see in a movie while happening to also be wearing it, lol. This has happened to me with my Khaki Auto, my square, and my Rangeman. My Marathon Navigator too, but I knew that was in the movie and put it on before hand.

My collections theme are watches worn in movies. With my limited budgets, here are some that I can get my hands on:

Image

The Seiko arnie prospex reissue, as worn by Arnold in the movie Predator

Image

Seiko Giugiaro worn by Ellen Ripley from the movie Aliens

Image

And two of my most worn watches: Hamilton pilot day date worn by Cooper in the movie Interstellar, and Seiko Willard prospex reissue, a reissue from the watch worn by Capt Willard in the movie Apocalypse Now.

Awesome collection

·

For me the Arnie💪witch also was worn by Roger Moor as James Bond a few years before Arnold Schwarzenegger made it famous.

·

Worn by Bingbing in The Meg

·

And sticking with The Meg, how about this bad boy worn by Jason Streeeeetham

Kinda surprised this wasn't mentioned

This one from source code was also pretty cool

Totally agree. I wished so much that it would be a exact spec watch from the movie. That digi analog display would have killed. Loved the blue variant. Can’t have it all I guess.

·

To me, watches usually look mundane in sci fi movies. The Minority Report Omega Bulgari is probably the best exception, though the double Casio is a very nice prop/accessory. Still waiting for Tom to realize he hasn't sent it to me yet. https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/tom-cruise-wears-a-bulgari-or-is-it-an-omega-in-minority-report

Its a weird one: the Aquatech 13183 worn by Robert Muldoon in 'Jurassic Park', I loved the character when I was littler, and I've always wanted to own one, shame they never pop up for sale.
