First Post - Sharing My Collection

Hi WC! I’m sharing my collection briefly here because no one will listen to me geeking about this.

My wrist size is 17mm.

Starting with the one on the right:

Kenneth Cole: Skeleton Mechanical - My first watch, a present from my dad when I was in high school. That was when I don’t even know how long a mechanical watch should last when fully wound. Everybody thought that watch looks cool due to the movement.

Next one is the one on the left:

Eone Bradley Timepiece - An unique watch for blind people, it was gifted to me from a friend of my dad to celebrate my admission to university (2016). Rarely wore it because I thought that you have to keep your watch in perfect condition, but frequently wear it after accepting you can’t avoid scratch when wearing a watch.

The second from the left:

Casio: Quartz - I bought it just because I feel like wearing an analog watch, it was cheap. I bought it in Taiwan for 520NTD (16.88USD). After I got a MiBand 3, I never wore it anymore. I like to wear it when I go to the gym now.

The second from the right:

Casio MTP-V006GL-7B - I bought it to have a matching watch with my girlfriend. Thought it was vintage like with its roman numeral and gold color case.

Middle left:

Orient Kamasu RA-AA0004E: My first “real” watch. The first watch that I bought after diving into watch enthusiast rabbit hole, that I bought with my own money. I was looking for an over engineered watch with high CP value. I was thinking Seiko 5, but it use hardlex glass. So I choose Kamasu with its sapphire glass. I love it when it change color in different lighting. Just bought it last Christmas (2022).

Last one, middle right:

Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm - Also gifted from my dad for my university graduation (2020), I’m too scared scratching it that I never wanted to wear it, but after understanding the enjoyment of wearing a timepiece, I love to wear it the most.

It was a long post, but glad you guys stay til the end!

What watch should I put in my collection next? 🤔

I second this notion.

Your collection is very refined already. I think Brew Watch Chrono would be perfect for your current collection.

Since you didn't give a price point you can go higher end trying a Frederique Constant Chrono. Both are beautiful. Good luck hunting (not my pictures)

I prefer the Casio MW-24 to the larger MW-240 black resin watch you have, but it is still a very clean design and more Bahaus than most modern German ugliness. Roman numerals with day and date is not something one sees every day.

·

That is quite a variety you have there. Ok the Rolex was a graduation gift so it's exceptional. Honestly if my Dad was still around, anything he would have given me would be priceless. It's always good to know that people can still enjoy watch collecting without having to buy luxury timepieces.

·

I will try to do like your father is doing to you to my children. Great collection. That Eone Bradley looks brutal, stunning.

·

That casio looks like the watch (black and white) the Pope used to wear. It isn't exactly the same, but it's close.

·

First of all,

Amazing collection!

My vote would definitely be a chronograph at this point.

Look at the Seagull 1963. (My comment picture shows the version I have and there is an image below that is more original)

It’s mechanical, and great value for the cost.

This is just a suggestion though

The journey is yours to decide and recommendations can sometimes be good jump off point for ideas instead of a definitive suggestion.

As long as you take your time and educate your self on your decision on the time piece you will avoid a rash regret. Best of luck! Keep up the good work!
