Yes, I agree. I started with really cheap screwdrivers and ended getting frustrated because they kept chipping, so I skipped straight to the Bergeons. A middle of the road set is probably better idea so you can decide if you really like it and want to upgrade. For some of the gear it doesn’t matter too much, like the presto tool and the ink pots. The things I ended up splurging on were the screwdrivers, oilers, movement holder, loupes, and tweezers. I started out with cheaper versions, but quickly realized I loved watchmaking and wouldn’t mind having better tools.
