While I like the look of the Seiko SPB143, I love both the look AND feel of the Pelagos39. I've purchased both but decided to keep the Pelagos39 only.
The Pelagos39 being made of Titanium (grade 2) with the (much) better COSC movement, Titanium bracelet and T-Fit clasp gives it so much more quality than the Seiko.
If Seiko made the SPB143 in titanium, with a COSC accurate movement (the Caliber 6R35 movement in the SPB143 feels like amateurish timekeeping), and Tudor T-fit equivalent bracelet... I'd have bought and kept that instead. But they didn't in cutting all manner of corners to sell the SPB143 for $1200.
