I love the dial and cathedral hands. The case shape looks good also. as for the size, if it fits your wrist then it’s grand.

if you want to add even more colour, namoki mods has a blue wave rotor.

I’m undecided on the strap. The orange seems rather subtle from the front. It doesn’t quite match with the dial. But it doesn’t seem to clash either. It does look rather comfortable.

where did you find that dial? If you don’t mind me asking.

I like the strap but the stitching and accent color don’t work with the dial. There’s so many colors there but not much orange to pick up on.

All the parts are sourced from AliX. It was an interesting dial so I tried to play watch designer with the limited sources there are for builds. Maybe it's the strap that's tripping me up. It doesn't clash, but it doesn't really pop either.

I agree. I think it's the strap that has my chonies bunched up. On line the colors seemed to blend better. Maybe a solid black Neoprene strap?

Lume is surprisingly decent

Strap is just an AliX sailcloth strap. They are inexpensive but comfortable. And I'm one of the few people who like a deployment clasp.

In the long term I think I'm going to use a black sailcloth without stitching like you suggested. I think that's going work the best. I just didn't have a black sailcloth strap handy lol

Like the watch (dial is killer!), but yeah, the strap coloring doesn't match

I agree that straight black is a little stark against such a colorful dial. I thought the orange would pop with the dial, but it funky. Maybe it's just the wrong color orange. I'll give white stitching some though.

This is too big it's a 22mm in a 20mm lug width. But it gives a good idea for a mock up.

I'm open to listen to any problems you see or opinions you have.

Very curious, what case is it? I know you said AliExpress, but are there specific search terms to run to find this case?

This specific case can be found here. But in general I just search "nh35 case" or whatever movement I want to work with. When I find a case I like I just verify the movement and dial size will fit.

I been looking at it and I can see your point. I was hoping to keep it casual but with the polished case it might need a leather strap.
