Nomos Ahoi neomatik vs Tudor Pelagos FXD

Your basic Versus cage fight. Two enter the arena, only the winner leaves. Two similar priced watches. Both ostensibly 200m dive watches, but neither is a conventional iso certified dive watch.

Yeah, Tudor for sure.👌

Tudor, but it doesn't really seem too far off from a conventional dive watch.

·

Ahoi Matrosen der Ferne! 😎 While I don't mind the Tudor at all, the Nomos just looks so much more "cleaned up".

·

I really like Nomos as a brand, but if I want a “dive watch”, I would want to have a bezel that I can fidget with

The Ahoi is my favorite watch, but not something I would generally cross shop against an actual dive watch (regardless of its ISO status).  I love my Ahoi as its basically the perfect everyday (beach, office, gardening, etc..) watch for my tastes.  A FXD (or any dive watch for that matter), is not an everyday watch for me.

I can't decide. Both are on my wish list. I've got experience with both brands and they're different but comparable. (the Nomos belongs the my GF but I borrow it.)

Why go for just another diver.  Nomos all the way.

I like the Nomos, especially on one of these bracelets! https://nomos-glashuette.com/en/store/straps?o=9#/en/18-mm/bracelet-sport-18mm-1044

Total lesser of two evils for me. Nomos has less charm than most drug store watches to my eyes.

I think the Nomos is brilliant when you want to buy just one watch because it can go to water and the watch wouldn't be wrong in a dressy environment either.  But when you've got several watches I think the fixed lugs are quiet cool and something different.
