Reference: Seiko 5328
Never thought this would exist but it does, and no the “Swiss” isn’t engraved on the dial. Rather it’s on the movement after you open the caseback. When I saw it for auction on Instagram I just had to see it for my self. It’s also quite a reliable mechanical movement for its age. Thin and three hands with a sub seconds, makes it a great dress watch. The case has a few dings here and there but not still glad to have managed to get this unique piece.
Not sure if such a thing will ever exist again in Seikos modern era.

Oh wow! What sorcery is this ?? 🤣🫣
Oh…what reference is this? That’s quite a find. Maybe it’s a mod?
Seiko did this for a couple of years in the 1980's when they wanted to make a mechanical sub-seconds watch but they had stopped making sub-seconds movements.
Gotta be a bitsa, surely?
Cool tho 😎👍🏻
Cooool !
That's a cool find for sure

Agree it’s probably a mod
Lovely and a great find. Enjoy and thanks for sharing.
The original movement most likely failed, and was replaced with the closest thing that was available at the time. I’d be curious the dial feet line up, or if it’s using dial dots. Very interesting!
I'm not a Seiko guru or anything, but don't listen to those saying it's a mod or a fake. If you look at the movement, you can see engraved on the train wheel bridge is 5328A, which is a Swiss FHF 138.001 repackaged by Seiko. Here's an excellent source on the topic and makes for an interesting read.
Very nice find!

It’s the Seiko 5328. There are some articles on it and I’ve found vintage ads but yeah still a mysterious piece
Agree it’s probably a mod
Here’s an article on the movement reference mate

Not sure why someone would mod the words Swiss on the movement 🤷♂️

I think it came with various dials. Found an ad on this piece online tho
