Hi, I'm looking for a field watch on the smaller side (36-38mm). After doing some research these are my 3 favorites.
Bulova Hack
Timex Expedition North Solar
Seiko 5 Sport SRPJ85
Can you help me think through the process of picking one?

Bulova
Gotta go with timex if your going to used it all the time
Seiko
Bulova!
Bulova. The pop of red is just right 👌
I would get the Bulova. In fact, I did get the Bulova, but the one with the white dial.
The Bulova is fresh. Only downside is that it’s not the most water resistant
You know, I actually have all three in my collection, and any of them would be a good choice. However, I really think my 36mm Timex Expedition North Post Solar is the best out of the three. Honestly, it has the best specs of the three, being the only one with a sapphire crystal, along with 100m WR and a solar powered movement, making it a great grab and go watch.
The Timex in the Titanium version would be my pick . The case size is big for your requirements but it's a killer watch

That is a great looking watch! I saw it on a recent episode of The Time Teller and was intrigued.
Of those three, go Timex and solar.
Bulova
Seiko 5. No brainer. Tried and trusted by a lots of watch guys.
I would choose the Seiko. The Bulova hack is pretty tubby and the Miyota 8000 series is worse than the NH movement in the Seiko. I don’t care for TimeX stuff in general, maybe I’m biased, but they seem built to a price first and foremost.
