This ain’t no peanuts!

I love timex and I love the peanuts cartoons,

But I just don’t think a $60 to $100 watch is worth $269 because of the cartoon! Just saying.

Why not? If you’re a fan there are worse things to spend your money on. Personally I don’t buy any colab pieces because they are a cash grab, but I rather buy this than a moon swatch :-)

Limited editions always skew away from "priced for what we think it's worth" and toward "priced for what we think we can still manage to sell them all for." It always annoys me, so I've never purchased any limited edition of anything. Inevitably, a lot of people will buy those anyway, but it's not really for anyone who lacks sufficient interest in it and enough extra cash to ignore the price tag.

Wait until you find the Omega Speedmaster Snoopy 50th Anniversary 😜

I don't even know what the base model here is but one must account for more colors on the dial than usual, meaning more printing steps, and they stamped the band with that hippy bird.

More importantly, Pigpen and Franklin are on the promo but not the watch, and there is someone there between Charles and Patricia who I don't recognize at all.

Violet is between Charlie and Peppermint Patty.

The base 40mm Marlin automatic with a Miyota movement runs $259, so only $10 for a limited edition seems decent.

Also, I'd definitely wear this colorful watch before I'd wear the Rolex "celebration" or "jigsaw" watches.

·

And finally (I need to get back to work), Timex sells the $60-100 versions in quartz

Maybe 60-100 for a quartz ,but this one is automatic.

·

Is it mechanical? If so, why not buy it?

I paid 400 bucks 😂😂😭😭😭😭😭

I have no recollection of this Violet character. I'll have to look into this. I also thought of the Rolex "celebration" in terms of many passes for little bits of color.

You got a better deal👍

For that amount of money, there are other watches I’d buy. I just think Timex could come down a bit in price. Auto or no auto!

Fair enough.

I'd love one, but 40mm is just too small for my wrist.
