New Baltic Tricompax In Good Company

Have really been enjoying the latest from Baltic, and will have a full hands-on impressions coming soon - but wanted to highlight some of my favorite details against other watches with similar appeal (to me, at least). I'd classify all three of these watches as designs that transcend the era in which they were designed. The Omega and PD each have an appeal and relevancy across generations, and I get a similar sense of the Baltic, even if the brand doesn't have the decades of history that the others enjoy.

At any rate, this is a good looking watch, and it comes with a pair of flyback stopwatches that follow the same color scheme. Fun package at a pretty reasonable price ~$2k with a hand-wound Sellita movement.

You can see Zach and I's (rough) first impressions on Worn & Wound here: https://wornandwound.com/video-introducing-the-baltic-x-peter-auto-tricompax-and-accompanying-flyback-stopwatches/

Any thoughts on the Tricompax?

It's pretty sweet, and one I think you'd like.

Side note, sorry we didn't get to connect longer in Chicago! Was hoping to chat a bit more. Hope you're able to make it to NYC come Oct!

Not my cup of tea in terms of dial design but really happy to see Baltic change gears for their "Classic Watches" line. Prior I felt like it was a dive watch and dress watch company but these definitely changes things up. It coming with the two timers is definitely interesting, those I like a lot haha. The bracelet (in the pictures anyway) looks great as well.

Will catch up later today on the video when I have time to binge some YouTube.

I really like it, designed beautifully, looks equally as nice as the speedy and tbh has that good old retro feel.

Would love to own one, but the timing isn't righ (no pun intended), shame its a limited edition as I'd add it to the list if it's on sale in a year or two or if it was about £1k I'd leap for it now.

Hope too see more of this from baltic, as previously the brand wasn't for me as it just looked like standard diver watches (nothing wrong with that, just nice to see some variety)

This is a fantastic looking release from Baltic 😍 nice shots Blake! It has a little UG about it while keeping the design completely original - I'm a big fan! Personally, I'm really pleased to see Baltic testing the upper price points for micro/independent brands and making use of more premium movements. An LE seems like a clever way to do it & I'm sure it will go down very well with fans of the brand!

Upon first glance, it's not hard to tell where the inspiration came for this watch. Perhaps this was the mental connection they wanted potential buyers to make?? All props to Baltic - this is what they've always stood for - vintage-inspired watches for a segment longing for the timeless designs of yesteryear. But I can't help but feel that on this occasion, Baltic have done something uncharacteristic and produced something decidedly "un-Baltic". Perhaps it's the shouty colours of the chrono hand and subdials (no doubt a nod to their collab partners) that's throwing me off.

Needless to say, it's still an attractive watch.

As a chrono geek, I really like this, and given my affection for pocket watches as well, I love the idea of the two stop watches. I also really appreciate the scale on the tachymeter - makes much mores sense than most. Thanks for posting.
