Just to set the scene: You have just set your Tudor down to continue your work as a moldaner. You gaze contemplatively over the gray sea and undulating clouds that extend towards the horizon. You hear the cries of the gulls as they patrol the rocky shore. In the next room the subtle strains of Arvo Part's Tabula Rasa are barely audible over the surf below. Then, you realize that you don't know what a moldaner is and you order a pizza.
It is really a lovely composition. (In the old country my people were a long line of bowl makers - moldaners. No royalty, just peasants turning wooden bowls.)

I love this on so many levels… you had me quickly asking myself “should I know moldaner is?”… and then had me asking Siri what a moldaner is… then having to physically type out moldaner because Siri is useless yet again. I appreciate the scene setting, the sense of humor and the kind words. If you were here I’d happily share a slice 😉
