New Baby?! ...New Watch
Ok, I can't hold it in any longer. It was hard, lemme tell ya...
Jenn and I are going to be having our 2nd child in May of 2023!
For those of you who know me irl, know we've been trying for a bit. And I'm just so happy to be growing my family the way we want to. I couldn't be any happier growing our family together. And Roman's going to be a BIG BROTHER! 🥰
I'm just overwhelmed with happiness and I can't wait to welcome #2 in May!
But the question still remains... What watch do I get to commemorate the celebration of life? Don't worry I won't be pulling a Hodinkee and putting my wife on the burner while I try on some watches. But I'd like to have a little something to remember the birth of my 2nd child, as I wasn't in a position to do this when we had our son. I'm looking for something under $1.5K, huge points for originality. As I'm not big on horology, or brands. I can't wait to hear some suggestions!

For your budget I suggest you take a look a Zelos. They have good pieces in your price range with some in titanium too.

As far as watches, My favorite watch under $1500 has turned from Hamilton Jazzmasters towards Farer... I recently picked up a Durham and Cayley Verde and am thrilled with both. I also picked up a Longines Heritage Military Marine Nationale in great shape for under $1500.
A Grand Seiko SBGX261 is a quartz but can be ordered in from Japan under 1500. Solid watch that will last a lifetime and never go out of style.
