This is my favorite two tone watch. A Mido Commander 8259.
I used to really dislike two tone, but now I really like it. In my opinion two tone reached its peak in the 80’s, but seems to be making a comeback.
What do you think?

I don't think it ever left. Everyone needs a two tone in the collection!

Looking good!
Your Mido is beautiful! 😍
I'm not afraid of two-tone watches. I think they're making a comeback.

Raymond Weil two tone wirh the Tango Chronograph. Still in style for me
I don’t have a two tone yet but I have definitely been on the fence. I think I would rather go two tone over all gold

It’s a good middle ground.

Thank you! I have more, lol.
That dial is 🔥!
It is back. I don't know why. I still don't understand the two tone explorer. I guess I am not fancy enough for a gold watch.

That Explorer is kind of an abomination. Let’s not count that one…
It’s not “two-tone” — it’s “Rolesor” (say this with your most snobby voice)

Idk if you call it chopped liver, that thing is magnificent! What vintage?
I have been mostly stainless over the years, but I snuck in a touch of gold on my recent big purchase because it gives me flexibility and it looks great!
That is a class piece! Very nice!
Looking good! I have seriously thought about getting an Oysterquartz.
80 percent of my collection is integrated. I have a Tudor Royal and cartier pasha left to complete my collection. I love this thing

I have considered those Royals as well!
That is a beautiful watch! I think the explorer in 2 tone is nice
Damn! I forgot to ask if this is trending? My bad!

I think it is now!
Here’s a couple of my treasured two-tone watches — My hard-earned Shane Co watch I was awarded when I made President’s Club…and my NOS Armitron — brand new but yet over 30 years old!

Those are both outstanding pieces! I have never seen either of those before!
I just do single tones 😅
It never left 👌
Two-tone is definitely starting a resurgence IMO. Really dig this Mido - very retro classy/cool.

Thank you! It definitely has its own vibe.
