Can’t afford this…

…so reaching out to my fellow Crunchers to see if there is anything similar looking in a bit more manageable budget 😁😁

Baltany homages some very similar looking RAF chronos from the 40s-60s at around $150. Might be worth a look.

This one is really nice!!!! Thnx

I don’t like the brand but I see this one every now and then in WC. Sure more affordable than a Breguet. Quartz movement though.

The laco chronographs. Amazing and Underrated brand, and what I love about laco is the fact they let you customize your watch specs to your needs and preferences. You must consider this. At least go to Lacos website and take a look

Check longines as they were known for chronos at the same age as breguet, others came after.

Hamilton Pilot Chrono?

I agree @Hodonkee - there’s so much information now I am inundated with choices.

But I think I will hold off for now - and wait to get something a bit substantial…like the Longines or better.

But I am amazed with all the information I’m getting from the fellow Crunchers here.

The Avi Big-Eye is a really good choice and worth waiting for imho.

Best of luck!

Lol. Same here but this time I kept myself in check) Have you looked at Laco? They have a bi-compax chronograph that looks awesome. I have a Laco fleiger and in my sizable luxury Swiss brands bunch, it happens to be my favorite timepiece. Just saying...

I did check Laco. But most are too big for my wrist size

Reading this really made me laugh today. At the time I was in an AD looking at this

Utterly beautiful but really pricey! If you find anything that matches it let me know!

·

I' have recently fallen for this watch as well, specifically on the new steel bracelet. But $22k is pretty steep. But I really want a Breguet. Maybe something like this IWC?

In my opinion the Hanhart 417es

Image

Op should read the history. The type xx owes inspiration to this classic.

·

It has to be the Hanhart 417ES. The watch that inspired the milspec and was cool enough for McQueen.

Came here to point you to the Longines Big Eye. Beautiful piece, punching waaaaay above its price tag.

·

I would buy Hamilton Classic Intra-Mat H38429730.

airain is a pretty good alternative

I was holdng out on grabbing the older one before I saw this one...I totally dropped my desire for it as soon as I saw it. TBH the new one is ugly...
