Loving Breitling’s Kern era. I was lucky to snag this one in the pre-vaccine covid times.

LE from 2020. Breitling also released a blue dial that I’ve yet to see in person.

If I have that I'd put on rainbow strap haha

Oddly I don’t think I would have gotten it had it not been early Covid. This was a Breitling Boutique watch but in early-mid 2020, everything was pushed online so it was available to anyone. And being stuck inside 24/7, what else was I doing other than reading every watch blog and not going on vacation? I ordered it about an hour after they went up after hemming and hawing with a watch friend, they were gone a little later that day. No regrets.

Kinda yes? I put a picture below, but in person, the colors come through a bit more. Orange through green shine brighter than blues, and red is red.

Very cool Breitling, I'm seriously considering the Super Ocean as my next big purchase, since I want another diver.

I love the superOcean Heritage ‘57 for a bunch of reasons (clean design and great dimensions being at the top) and would highly recommend. These do only come with a 100m WR rating and friction-fit bezel so keep that in mind. I think the modern line for the past couple years is underrated.

I’m sure you understand 🥲 I will say that I saw a posting of someone a while back trying to sell their black dial. I think if you click #rainbow it’s in there.

Unfortunately no, just the plain blue. I don't recall ever seeing any multicolored one. BTW, wearing it today.

Breitling released two LEs, 250 with the black dial initially and 1000 with a blue dial a couple months later to honor front line Covid workers. (I think some percentage went to Doctors Without Borders or a similar org.) There’re four blue dial rainbows up on Chrono24 at the moment at a markup (but not as ridiculous a markup as I’ve seen).

Yup, and they both sold out almost instantly. 😢

But I love my blue one. One of the things I love about it is how the Milaneese bracelet extends all the wat to the case.

Just got the grey one for it. They are £170.00 ($210.00) now for a recycled plastic strap! Ridiculous.

Oh they’ve gone up in price 🙄 In its defense, the OK is incredibly comfortable, and mine came with a nice watch pouch and a great spring bar tool. But you can get the same quality elsewhere for a fraction the cost. My favorite is Worn and Wound’s ADPT single pass strap.

I have several Non-Breitling NATO all great quality.
