🇨🇭Patek 5270 - The real Patek 🇨🇭
On my recent trip to the Patek Exhibition in Melbourne🇦🇺🚃 I was fortunate to try on the Patek 5270 Perpetual Chronograph⏱️. The detail and finish is next level🚀 Layout is perfect. I know there is a hype around the Nautilus and Aquanaut but this is what Patek is about. Give me a Complicated Patek any day😁

Very nice indeed! This is a Watch. So much going on in the movement and the dials - but all laid out meticulously and well balanced.

Very nice love the back but as soon as I see a moon on the front I hate it, cannot stand moon phase! Why just look in the sky, it’s really not a bit of me! They was all the rage in the late 80’s didn’t like them then and still don’t! Just my opinion if you like them crack on!🤷♂️🤦♂️

That is a beautiful watch. Just still boggles my mind that this is 3x the cost of my first house 😀
Fantastic, I particularly like the J variant of the 5270 as I think it looks the most classic. The way Patek designs its cases is also really interesting and attractive as well. Movement could do with abit more handfinishing if I were to be critical, particularly at the price range but the architecture is nice enough.
Id flip it and wear that watch caseback out. With the kind of money it takes to get one I wouldnt even be surprised of one could ask Patek to set it up that way.

Yeah... No, not for me. I can recognise the quality and craftsmanship, but this is too much for me. I am on team boring... 🙃
Except for the glass back and the rather large size, this is something deserving of the term luxury watch.

Was a great experience. Not everyday you see 110 current Patek models in one place plus get to try on 19 others😁

Actually it was very relaxed. It was a small group and very nice setting.

Indeed, one of the reasons Stern Jnr. gave for discontinuing the 5711 was that it was taking attention away from their classical work. It's watches like their PCs that are their signature, and not the Flintstones watch.

Patek is all about the complication👍

It is but I wish it would go back to more 5970 layout where the central hands is on the same plane as the subdials instead of it being slightly above the others. I know it is probably inevitable given the modern modular architecture that brands utilize now to have more scale in production but I do miss the Lemania layout.

All Pateks are special / this one in particular looked great on the wrist and when you turned the watch over you can see that beautiful movement😍
