I’ve been using my Oura ring for fitness and sleep tracking for the last couple of years, after moving off of watch-style fitness trackers, and that’s provided the perfect balance for me.
I get most of my Perlons from Wrist Candy Watch Club and Cheapest Nato Straps, however, you've had less issues with Natos in the past, as far as comfort, places like Clockwork Synergy make some nice Nato-style Perlon straps that are solid quality and worth trying. :)
I’m usually wearing NATOs or leather as well. Where I live, Winter is the only month I can comfortably wear a leather strap without it getting super sweaty when I venture out.
Summer, I’m all about Perlon and the occasional rubber strap, depending on the watch.
I have 6.25 inch wrists, so I feel ya! Seconding the A161! My favorite Casio of all time. I recently picked up an A171WE and, other than the not-so-great backlight, I love it. It’s also a strap monster (pictured below on a leather strap from WatchGecko). I believe @benswatchclub has a really solid review on it as well on his channel.
