So, here's the thing.. I know my memory is failing and the older I get the worse it gets. But somethings I'm pretty sure I remember correctly. Like when I bought my Omega, I'm confident the seller told me it was a 1957 model, but maybe I got confused in the excitement of buying it.
I came across a serial number checker yesterday when browsing Omega online and out of curiosity, I cross checked mine and it states it is actually a 1959 Seamaster 2814 Cal. 420.
I don't think it makes any difference to what I paid for it.. but you live and learn.
