I love watches, especially ones with a good story or history to it. I am fascinated by these little mechanical works of art. "All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us" -J.R.R. Tolkien
When i was around 8 years old my parents gave me a Casio 91w which was my first ever watch which was quite a special moment for me. After that i owned some fashion watches like the Fossil Big Tic blue which had an digital seconds counter as a dail with analog hour and minuten markers. But after seeing the youtube channel from The Urban Gentry back in 2017 the hobby really took off.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
Casio 91w
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
No, not a story perticulair of myselve but i really do like the story behind the Omega Moonwatch with the Gemini and Apollo missions but also Cartier with history behind the Tank and Santos Dumont
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Enjoy the hobby and go on your own journey in collecting watches and buy what you love. Use them, enjoy them and make memories with them.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Omega Speedmaster because of the feel of history and importance it had on the Apollo missions. When I wear a Omega Speedmaster Professional, i feel like a freak'n astronaut. In my eyes it can't get any cooler then that.
