Lorier stated that with the new Miyota movement the thickness will increase by 2mm. If you pre-order the first Hyperion II it will have the Soprod movement with a 2mm thinner case. For me this was an important feature.

See there statement below:

We are proud to formally introduce the Hyperion Series II. Yes, it's finally here!

With a new colorway, too—the Skyward Special Edition. Your requests for a white Hyperion have been answered!

Available Saturday, February 11, at 11 AM ET (UTC-5). Orders will ship the following week.

**This will be the only production run of Hyperion Series II to feature the Soprod C125 GMT movement. This summer, we will be transitioning to the new Miyota 9075, consistent with the rest of our collection. Though pricing is not finalized yet, the 9075 should make the Hyperion more affordable. But because it's a thicker movement, the future Hyperion will be about 2mm thicker (it will wear similarly to the Neptune). The design will be the same, so if the thinness of the Hyperion is a major draw for you, now is your chance!

Hi Oneski, the lume has two colours. Differentiating the luminous pigments between one timezone, which uses BGW9 (dial, hour, minute, seconds hands) and the other, which uses C3 (24-hour bezel, GMT hand). The C3 on the GMT hand is realy bright and last long but the C3 on the bezel also is bright but it doesn't last as long as the other applications. The BGW9 on the dail is very good. It charges fast and shines bright and it holds up quite long, especialy considering the fact that this isn't a dive watch. It also looks the part with the two different colours. Hopefully this would help you in your decission. Cheers!

Thanks Hudson 😎 The V1 version came out in a version with silver hands and white accents and in a version with gilt hands and accents. The V2 is gilt or a complete white dail if i'm not mistaken. Please see the pictures below of both V1 version for reference. Cheers!

Hi Gasanche, i realy like the Lorier Hyperion mostly because of the vintage charme with it's bakalite'esc bezel which is made from slightly domed acrylic. It wears vey comfortable because of the case design and the fact that the case is quite thin. The Soprod movement is something different than the well known movements (seiko, miyota, eta, etc) which i liked. It is also very accurate. The GMT function is practical and the roulette date wheel in black for the uneven days and red for the even days is a cool detail. All and all a very nice watch for the price which i wear very often for more than one year now. Yeah, i think you can tell that i would recomment it 😉
