Rogan is definitely a really smart guy and a really down to earth guy as well for someone with 100s of millions of dollars. I hung out with him once after my buddy Rob’s first UFC fight. He has only so torn about watches a few times and says he feels weird wearing his Rolex and has only been gifted Rolex didn’t buy any himself. He wears a lot of G shock, Omega the most, and Grand Seiko. Omega seems to be his favorite brand.
You said it very well. I started getting into watches when I was 18 and I used to want kind of crazy looking stuff like ulysse Nardin watches and all types of funky looking dials and stuff but now I like more basic and timeless looking watches. Even my SMP which I love o wish I got in a different color. I have the blue bezel silver dial and it’s hard to match with every outfit. My first real watch was a Longines Hydroconquest that I bought for 1020 bucks. I threw out the box and papers because I was like I’ll never sell this who needs this crap. Well now I’m on a list for s submariner so I really don’t need two black dive watches if I get that and I could probably sell it for 600 bucks to help offset the sub cost but I don’t even have the box and papers. There is a slight chance they could be at my mothers house in the Attic
