Could have gotten an Omega, even a Rolex. Got this instead...

Didn't buy this to commemorate a special occasion or for any reason in particular other than buying a watch, "The" watch, that I happened to order it back in September a day after my birthday was purely a coincidence.

I'm an artist and I knew I wanted a watch to reflect what I do, or my personality, taste, etc. I feel like most our watches are a reflection of us, so independent was the way to go, but never really knew where to start, until I saw that Teddy Bulbasaur video titled "Watchmaking best kept secret" or something along those lines, and I was hooked.

The problem is that around 200 pieces per year based in Europe this was going to be especially hard to get, so I gave up on it, but the watch lived rent free in the back of my head since. That is when I decided to look up if they had any retailers stateside, turns out they did, and one of them was 20 minutes away, and not in LA!  thank the gods.

So I did the drive, checked them out, ordered mine  with custom blue hands! And four month later I got the watch (right on time for Christmas).

Thank you for reading all the way to the end, I'm euphoric to have gotten this piece and feels good to share my excitement with y'all.

Now I just need another strap to color match my shoes and a bracelet to dress it down, any bracelet recommendations would be appreciated as I'm not a huge bracelet guy and have little to no experience with them.

Cheers!

Thank you! I don't know if I can call it the best, there's some crazy crown operated chronos, deadbeat seconds, doppel chronos, etc. It was so hard to choose!

Yeah this is by far their best seller, in my opinion their flagship model and most handsome one.

Could have gotten an Omega, even a Rolex.

But why would you?  Beautiful.

As an Austrian i am very pleased with your decision to buy this watch. I am looking forward to buying one myself someday.

Fantastic looking watch.  Would love to see some more of it and a review after you’ve had it a while.  Total sleeper but you’ll enjoy it every-time you wear it

Thanks!

I'm not one to write watch reviews, I'm of the "if you like it, buy it" mentality. There's difficult things to quantify about this watch, especially when it comes to money vs build quality, I think brands like Grand Seiko put more of the money you pay into their watches but also belonging to a big brand can afford them to do so, same with rolex, omega, etc. So why the price tag on these, well, the small production per year which leads to legit scarcity, that it was conceived and produced by a team of four people, to me that's what makes it special, but it's gonna vary from people to people.

I'm happy to answer any questions you have about the watch and the brand and have a conversation, I'm no expert though :p

This is absolutely gorgeous.  Love it.  Congratulations.

Yeah, the Erwin is a flex for sure, can't think of anything more stealth wealth than making your 6k watch look like a $200 one. At one point I was seriously having second thoughts on wether getting this, or the globetrotter.

·

That is one sexy watch, health to enjoy

·

You have made a good choice mate 🙂👌🏾 Monopusher Chronograph 😍

·

Great choice, it's a beauty. The blue hands take the watch up a level for sure! Have you seen Bill Sanders review?

Thanks! I was very lucky to get it.

·

HUBBA HUBBA! That is pure love right there. So happy for you - this is not just a great piece but a beautiful concordance of person, expression and form.

·

Thanks! It's their regular Chrono felix salmon, I just ordered it with blued pencil hands.

·

They are, I happen to live 15 minutes from the largest Habring2 dealer here in the USA. They only had a Chrono-felix in stock, I saved but it sold before I could buy it, then I ordered one and took around 6 months.

·

Definitely has a lot of character, I can say the case construction is not top finishing for money, but the movement and dial is.
